Jak and Daxter HD collection announced

Besides the Uncharted series, Naughty Dog has also been well known for creating the Jak and Daxter games, open world platforming games that made quite a name for themselves on the PS2. Ever since HD collections began dropping like flies, people have been anticipating/predicting a Jak and Daxter HD collection and finally Naughty Dog obliges.

On the PlayStation blog today, Naughty Dog’s Co-President, Evan Wells announced the Jak and Daxter HD collection exclusively for the PS3 that will consist of three games - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. Like most of its HD re-made predecessors, this one will offer updated visuals in 720P as well as 3D and Trophy Support. This collection is expected to hit retail sometime in February 2012, although a price has still not been announced. In the meantime, if you’d like to see the changes made to this game, check out the debut trailer embedded below.

The franchise will also celebrate its 10 year anniversary this December ,so there’s a chance Naughty Dog may have some announcements up its sleeve.
