3D is sweeping the globe despite protests against its hype and here's the latest. It's an augmented reality app for the iPhone that allows you to use AR to create 3D videos, without the need for coding. The application is an augmented reality editor; it allows users to take pictures of an object and convert it to 3D, which can be overlaid in AR and even recorded on video. This is awesome as regular iPhone users can become 3D videographers.
The company behind this project is Hololabs Studio, who managed to raise $5,000 (approx Rs. 2,27,900) in funding for the app. They're planning to release it for the App Store in Q1. To watch a demo of the app, view the video below. It's a little complicated, but a project that seems well worth the effort. Look here for a review when the app is out!
