Here’s yet another home-brewed quad-core affordable smartphone for the Indian market. Intex has launched the Aqua I-5 for Rs 11,690. The sub-Rs 15,000 budget quad-core phone category has various options to choose from, and the Aqua-I5 is likely to compete with the Micromax Doodle A111, A110Q Canvas 2 and Xolo Q1000, to name a few. Yet another budget quad-core phone
It isn't the first quad-core smartphone from the company. This latest device in Intex’s Aqua line-up, the I-5, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. Following the current fad of large screen handsets, the I-5 equips a 5-inch qHD display. It equips a 2,000mAh battery which promises to offer a talk time of up to 5 hours and about 7 days of standby time. The device runs on Android 4.2 jelly Bean. It also includes the light sensor, motion sensor, proximity sensor and G-sensor.
