InFocus A2 entry-level smartphone launched in India at Rs 5,199

US-based smartphone maker InFocus has launched its A2 smartphone in the country at Rs 5,199. The InFocus A2 is an entry-level smartphone that has been designed to appeal to feature phone buyers with 4G VoLTE capabilities as the highlight.

At Rs 5,999 we would not expect much, but InFocus seems to have delivered nonetheless. You get a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved edge screen protecting it. Inside, sits a Spreadtrum SC9832 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz and 2 GB RAM. There's 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot for expansion.

The cameras consist of a 5 MP unit on the front and 5 MP sensor at the back, that is accompanied by an LED flash.

The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat with the company's proprietary Smile UX skin. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE radios on a dual hybrid SIM setup, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro USB port at the bottom.

Powering all of the above is a 2,400 mAh battery which the company claims will last a whole day on a single charge.

The company also will provide free 30 GB of data from Reliance Jio and also has offers on MobiKwik wallet that will let you purchase the smartphone with up to Rs 300 cashback.
