Images and rumoured specifications of Motorola’s new smartphone, the DROID RAZR have been leaked, according to a report by GSMArena. The DROID RAZR is rumoured to have a 4.3-inch qHD display with a super AMOLED screen. It will run on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and will have 1GB of RAM.

As part of the specs, it will also sport an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and image stabilization and an HD front camera. Support for Motorola’s WebTop accessories, like the one we saw for the Atrix will be available, as well. Interestingly, the AMOLED screen that the device is rumoured to have, works on the PenTile matrix scheme, which is part of Samsung’s patented technology. However, that won’t really be a problem for consumers, if the final product has a visually pleasing screen. Besides the attractive black and silver design the phone will have a rugged body, which will be Kevlar reinforced, along with the popular Gorilla glass display.
Motorola’s earlier RAZR editions have been awesomely thin, and this one should follow suit. Pricing, release or availability hasn’t been spoken of, yet, and we’ll keep you posted as and when more updates start trickling in.
