ICS roll-out begins now for 2011 Xperia handsets

Back in 2011, when Sony’s handsets were launched under the Sony Ericsson banner, the brand had announced that their entire 2011 portfolio would be receiving the latest Android operating system upgrade, which is Ice Cream Sandwich. A few days ago, the brand announced that by mid-April, a number of 2011 Xperia handsets would be receiving the update in a phased rollout. The handsets that would be served Ice Cream Sandwich first would be the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray. As per a blog post by Sony, the brand has officially announced the rollout of the latest Android OS for the handsets mentioned above.
