Huawei’s Honor sub brand today launched its all-new
**Honor** 9i in India. The Honor 9i is different take on the
**Honor 9** which launched in China in June, where Huawei has added a few more cameras and offers an 18:9 ratio FullView display with mid-range pricing. The Honor 9i is priced at Rs 17,999 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart, starting 14 October. The design is typical to the Honor devices we have seen from the brand in the past, with rounded corners and some fine gaps for antenna gaps on the back. On the front, there’s a new 5.9-inch 18:9 ratio, Full View display with an FHD+ (1,080 x 2,160 pixels) resolution. On the rear sits the dual-camera setup that protrudes a little from the rest of the smartphone, which is pretty slim at 7.5 mm. The Honor 9i comes in Prestige Gold, Aurora blue and Graphite Black. The device features an octa-core Kirin 659 chipset clocked up to 2.36 GHz paired with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device is powered by a 3,340 mAh battery. The Huawei Honor 9i[/caption] Coming to the cameras, Honor has packed in a dual camera 16 MP cameras on the rear where one sensor reads depth data while the other RGB data. On the front sits a dual camera setup as well with two 13 MP cameras. The handset is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat with Honor’s custom EMUI 5.1 skinning. Honor also announced two new tablets along with a 10,000 mAh fast charging power bank.
