HTC unveils the Sensation XE featuring Beats Audio technology

Music lovers are spoiled for choice these days when it comes to smartphones and true to HTC’s words, “Audio is a crucial part of any consumer’s mobile experience.” Keeping this in mind HTC has raised the curtain on the Sensation XE, a smartphone that features Dr Dre’s Beats Audio. The main features of this new handset are that it comes with a 4.3-inch qHD S-LCD display and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The Sensation XE is based on a Qualcomm MSM8260 chipset and features the latest Android 2.3 and HTC Sense 3.5 software.

In addition to this, the HTC Sensation XE features an 8 MP camera at the rear, along with dual LED flash for still images and a VGA front-facing camera. This smartphone can record HD videos at 1080p, which adds to the immense capabilities this smartphone possesses. Apart from this, HTC has added a 1730mAh battery allowing users to listen, watch, speak and browse for even longer. Connectivity options are aplenty with this new handset as they have loaded it up with quad-band GSM, dual-band 3G with HSPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and FM radio.

The HTC Sensation comes with Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones, which allow users to ‘hear music the way the artist intended.'  The HTC Sensation XE also ships with a microSD card, 8GB or 16GB allowing users to load thousands of songs. This smartphone will be available across Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Asia Pacific around late September. As of now pricing is not available, but we will inform you once it is known.
