HTC is rumoured to be working with Verizon to release an Android smartphone targeted specifically at women, and it’s currently going by the name of HTC Bliss.
An Android phone... for women? What?
According to a report by This is my next, HTC are busy working with sample groups consisting of women in the 20-30 age group in an effort to bring out a phone that would be more appealing to the fairer sex. The obvious conclusion to jump would be that it’s pink, but it’s not. The Bliss will sport a greenish colour and will be similar in design to the Desire S and the Desire Z (without the QWERTY keypad, of course).
The phone will also be compatible with a few accessories like wireless charging dock with built-in speakers, a square speaker that will be attachable to a car visor and will support voice recognition and most interestingly, a ‘Charm Indicator’ which will basically be a phone strap with a contraption at the end that will light up when there’s a new message or call.
There’s a very good chance this phone might never make it out, but it’s an… interesting concept at the very least. What do you think?
