Everyone and their grandmother have been rushing to release Android tablets into the market in 2011, so why should HTC be any different? It looks like HTC will be releasing another tablet in addition to the previously announced HTC Flyer.
Will Opera be its default browser?
According to PocketNow, the HTC Puccini (as it is being tentatively named) will be a 10-inch tablet running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The lack of physical buttons is a major giveaway, because Honeycomb integrates soft-keys in the User Interface. The HTC Scribe technology, shown off on the Flyer, will also be featured. There might be some music-related features on this tablet too, what with it being named after Giacomo Puccini, an opera composer in the centuries gone past, or it could just have Opera as its default browser - you never know.
More information about the tablet or its specs isn’t really available, so all we can do is wait and watch when HTC announce this gadget. According to reports, the announcement is set to happen in June.
