The HTC U11 gets an update that enables 60 fps full HD video recording and Bluetooth 5.0

HTC has started rolling out updates for its recently launched HTC U 11 in India. According to Gadgets Now, the new update will bring support for Bluetooth 5.0 and users will be able to record 60 fps full HD video on the phone. The update is also expected to offer better connectivity and larger bandwidth for transmission and includes a security Patch for August.

The phone was released with Bluetooth 4.2 on board.

The recently launched HTC U 11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform which features an octa-core processor running at 2.45 GHz. HTC sells two variants of the phone, one with 128 GB internal memory and 6 GB RAM and another with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The former version is sold in India. The HTC U 11 features a 5.5-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It includes a 16 MP f/2.0 front camera and 12 MP f/1.7 rear camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 120 fps and 4k videos at 30 fps. The smartphone features IPS 67 rating for water and dust resistance and comes with Android 7.1.

HTC U 11 comes in four color variants Sapphire blue, Amazing silver, Brilliant black and Solar red. It also features gesture and hands-free Alexa on the device.  HTC U 11 is priced at Rs 51,990 in India.
