Hold on to Your Faces, Facebook is NOT Shutting Down

When it comes to the dumbest of dumb tech rumors, Facebook seems to be at the heart of them. The most recent buzz is that the social networking giant is shutting down on the 15th of March. This rumor was started by a blog after Mark Zuckerberg said he "wants his old life back" and wants to "put an end to the madness".

Still open for business

Think about it. And even if they did, will the madness really end and will Zuckerberg REALLY get his old life back?

The website that printed this rumor is a hard to trust website too, another scoop being Michelle Obama's pregnancy. However, Twitter's buzzing with Facebook shutting down tweets like, "Anyone who believes Facebook is really shutting down, call me. I know this Nigerian dude who has a *GREAT* business proposition for you" (@mojorojo) and "We didn't get the memo about shutting down, so we'll keep working away. We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started." (@Facebook
