Google had introduced its whacky Street View feature, a while ago. And, in an announcement made today, it revealed its plans adding the by lanes of Bangalore to its service.

Beginning from today, Google accompanied by Google cars and trikes with a camera system mounted on top will ride across the streets of Bangalore to accumulate a series of imageries of selected locations, which it would then incorporate onto its final Street View display. Areas such as Nrityagram Dance Village will be among those that will be clicked. As for the privately-owned destinations, the search giant would procure the necessary permissions from the owner(s).
The Street View collections boast of having popular destinations like Stonehenge in the United Kingdom, Pompei in Italy, Legoland in California, and Versailles in France, among others
