Google Earth 7.1 for Android brings Street View

Google Earth 7.1 for Android is here. The updated app brings along with it Street View imagery, among other features. To be able to use Street View imagery, all you have to do is zoom into a particular space that you want to have a closer look at – Pegman will show up in the right hand corner. Users have to drag and drop the Pegman into the street, and from there on, they can explore the space on a familiar Google Street View interface.

Google Earth 7.1 for Android also features better search and directions. This way, users can find what they need and quickly get where they're going. Users get transit, walk and bike directions in full 3D. In addition to that, the new search suggestions show up quicker and users can get easy access to search result list to look at all the search results in detail. By just clicking on the Earth logo visible in top left, users can browse and also enable Google Earth layers like, Panoramio Photos, 3D buildings and Wikipedia.

Using Google Earth, Android users can find their way through faraway places and also explore those closer home. With integrated Google Maps Street View, users can explore the world at street level. The "Tour Guide" feature on the app lets users discover new places to explore. By swiping on the tab at the bottom of the screen, users can view a host of virtual tours from around the globe.
