Google+ Comes to iPad, Looks Like the iPhone Version

Google+ has done exceedingly well since its inception and has crossed the ‘over 25 million users’ mark. To expand their base as a social networking giant, Google has now launched a native app for the iPad and iPod Touch. Initially, the company had launched the app just for the iPhone and it could not be downloaded on other iOS devices. However, what came as a pleasant addition to the iTunes Store was a native app for the remaining two devices – iPod Touch and iPads.

The app, which is now available for the iPad is just a scaled up version of the one used with the iPod Touch and iPhones. Along with the ability to download onto an iPad or iPod Touch, Google has also added settings, which allows users to select the group of people they wish to message whilst using Huddle, depending on what circle they belong to.

According to a report by CNET, the app does not work with the beta version of iOS 5, which is issued for developers. The latest version this app runs on across all iOS devices is iOS 4.3.5. One can download this app from their iOS device through the App Store or if you are using a desktop, click the link here.
