First List of Operators for iPhone 4 Shows Up

The citizens of USA, France, Germany, UK and Japan will be happy to know that the iPhone 4 will be hitting their shelves first come June 24th. However for those who don’t wish to stand in lines, pre-order will be available for these countries starting June.

Here are the list of operators that the iPhone 4 will be available with in these countries -
USA - AT&T. According to reports customers who are already with AT&T and whose contracts expire this the year have been made eligible for an iPhone 4 upgrade.
Germany – T-Mobile who will also offer the handset in Netherlands
Japan - SoftBank
France - Orange, SFR, and Bouygues Telecom. Orange has confirmed their service for the iPhone 4 the others will probably follow suite soon.
UK - O2, Orange and Vodafone, T-Mobile UK

The same report also mentions that Canada’s Rogers, TELUS and Bell service providers have confirmed that the iPhone 4 will hit them sometime in July.

Surprise, Surprise! India’s not on the list, not that anyone is really surprised. However let’s wait for round two. Seeing as Vodafone UK is on the list, it’s pretty much a given that the carrier will be one of the companies bringing the handset to our shores as well. Of course Airtel will be number 2.
