Apple’s version of video calls which can only work on Wi-Fi connectivity is out on 3GS phones as well. Only recently, the world was introduced to FaceTime through the iPhone 4, but it won't work even if you had a smoothly running 3G connection. Now, a few developers have ingeniously made FaceTime work for 3GS phones which obviously need to be jailbroken. One should realize that the iPhone 3G doesn’t really have a front-facing camera, which means that you've got to use a mirror facing you with the phone’s display reflected on it.
