Once you've updated the app, you will be able to create new albums from your photos page. Needless to add, creating albums is a good way to to organise and store all the photos that you capture on your BlackBerry 10 device. In addition to creating new albums, you can now add a new photo to either your existing albums, or to any new album that you may have created.

The app also lets you to tag an existing photo on Facebook from their BlackBerry 10-running mobile device. In addition to tagging, users can toggle between all their photos and albums. Now, among the photos, All photos are those that have you in them, while Album photos are those photos that you have uploaded yourself.

If you haven't updated yet, and are keen to do so, head over to the BlackBerry World store here. The updated app is available globally for devices running BlackBerry 10 version 10.1.

On the store, BlackBerry has listed down some known issues in the Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones app. It is also working with Facebook to fix them. These issues include items in the News Feed appearing out of order in some cases,  while in some others, items do not appear to load on your News Feed screen. They also mentioned that in a few cases, users received an error message when they tried commenting on a photo on the News Feed screen.
