In your lunchbox: Filipino chicken macaroni salad

The ordinary chicken macaroni salad is given a Filipino twist with the addition of pineapple chunks and raisins. This recipe is quite the favourite with Filipinos. It's creamy, delicious, tasty, and a cinch to make. You can also substitute shredded chicken with a can of tuna.

Interesting fact: The Filipinos actually eat this as dessert.

Brief quote from the original source:

“That said, it's not your typical light pasta salad. It has sour (pineapples, mayo), it has sweet (raisins), it has salty and savoury (cheese, chicken, onions). All in one bite. The funny part is that it is also always called macaroni salad, regardless of the type of pasta used. Ah well, it's just semantics.”
