Edimax launches IC-3015Wn wireless network camera in India

Here’s a new addition to network cameras designed for home monitoring from Edimax, called the IC-3015Wn 1.3Mpx Wireless Network Camera. Edimax Technology, which is a provider of advanced network communication and IP surveillance products ensures that the network camera is maintained cost-effective. With the size of an average smartphone and sporting a glossy white finish, the Edimax IC-3015Wn can be set up on a table or even mounted on a wall. The Edimax IC-3015Wn comes with a wide 1.7mm (28mm equiv.) lens that covers a viewing angle of 74.8 degrees, enabling to capture video footage of a wide area with a single network camera. It has a 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and is capable of capturing SXVGA (1280 x 960) videos at 30 frames per second. It equips a multi-area motion detection system. On detecting motion, the network camera immediately takes a snapshot of the detected motion and sends the snapshot to the user via e-mail or FTP. The detection function has been also designed to work with the network camera's recording feature. The Edimax IC-3015Wn has free 16-channel viewer software for PC. Using this software, it allows accessing and managing up to 16 network cameras simultaneously. It supports manual, cycle and scheduled video recording for every surveillance application. Edimax also goes mobile with free EdiView viewer app for iPhone and Android phones.
