E3 2011: Xbox Live To Stream Live TV

Microsoft is all set to deliver a Live TV experience via Xbox, its gaming console in fall, this year; it stated so at the well-attended E3 2011. The Live TV experience aims to let the user demonstrate his control over TV. It allows him to control and maneuver through his TV using the Xbox console.

Among the additions done to it, is the inclusion of live television streaming, which includes television networks like SkyTV (U.K.), Canal+ (France) and FOXTEL (Australia). Microsoft also mentioned during its event the voice-search enabled, Bing. This voice-search feature gets interesting as users just have to say out aloud what they wish to do. This feature powers the Live TV streaming feature that we mentioned before.

At the moment, the content that can be accessed includes music and videos and Microsoft plans to very soon add news, sports and local programming.
