So you’ve heard about Modern Warfare 3, gawked at its awesome trailer and marked out November 8th on your calendar. What now? How about rejoicing at the fact that Modern Warfare 3’s campaign will be playable co-operatively.
Everything's better in co-op
At a pre-E3 2011 event held in London this week, developer Sledgehammer’s VP & general manager Glen Schofield confirmed the existence of a co-operative campaign mode in addition to the already known Spec-ops mode (that can also be played co-operatively). Here’s the lowdown courtesy nowgamer,
“The single player campaign is just one aspect of the much, much larger game of Modern Warfare 3. Aside from the campaign we have Spec Ops, two-player co-op which we’re going to bring back to Modern Warfare 3 in a very big way, and of course multiplayer, which is just amazing in itself.”
Gameplay footage (including MP) is expected at E3 2011.
