E3 2011: Hideo Kojima Presents "Transfarring"

Hideo Kojima is well known as the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series but he's now giving back to the English language by coming up with a word that doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Transfarring, yes Transfarring is a brand new system that will allow players to transfer saves of certain Konami games from their PS3 to the PSP so they can continue the game on-the go. Once they get back home they can re-transfer, err transfarr their saved games from the PSP back to the PS3 and continue where they left off. Check out the video embedded below to fully understand Kojima’s new concept.

The first game to take advantage of this mechanic will be the HD remake of Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker that's being bundled as part of the MGS HD Collection. Initially this service will only allow players to transfer saves between PS3 and PSP games, but eventually Kojima would like to rope in the NGP as well.
