It seems the brutal reviews of Duke Nukem Forever have forced Gearbox Software to make certain gameplay changes. For a game that claimed to be “old school”, a two weapon limit was nothing short of ironic but now, according to Neowin, Gearbox will be tweaking that particular aspect of gameplay with an upcoming patch that will bump up weapon limit to four. Hardcore!
Duke should really kill himself
In addition to this, the game will also be adding in Valve’s anti cheat VAC software for those who are sick and tired of cheaters crashing their online experiences. Apparently this patch will also include "push-to-talk voice chat, the ability to adjust FOV plus other fixes and improvements that are still being tested." I honestly do not understand why Gearbox are wasting time and effort on a game that was pretty much Dead on Arrival. What they should have done instead was work on a patch that actually made the game not suck that hard. And yes, that was funnier in my head.
