Domino's to let you make virtual pizzas and order it for real

Popular pizza chain, Domino's Pizza is all set to embrace a 'one of its kind' move, in a bid to better engage their customers and of course, up their sales. The popular outlet has decided to get in their tech-loving customers for a quick game on their latest app for the iPad - Domino's Pizza Hero for iPad, with a little surprise bundled along, which we'll talk about in a bit. But first, an introduction to this app/game. iPad users can now 'make' their own virtual pizza on the iPad, from start to finish, while being constantly timed.

Domino's Pizza for Hero app for the iPad

If you've ever wondered what goes into the making of a perfect pizza, then this is where you could get your hands dirty. The app allows users to knead the dough, spread the sauce, sprinkle some cheese, place the toppings of their choice and finally, cut the piping hot pizza into neat slices. All this happens while a clock silently ticks away. The motive is to ready a pizza as quickly as possible, while imitating the experience of a regular Domino's worker. The app, too has been divided into six levels, in which levels one to five are the primary levels, hence titled "Pizza School". When in level six, the user's scores are judged based on the reviews given in by their in-game customers, a system which closely resembles Domino's real feedback system, "Domino's Tracker". Additionally, players can also share their scores with their friends on Facebook and Twitter for some quick approving nods.

If somewhere through your game, users crave in for some real pizza, then the app has a "Make an Order" tab, right across, clicking on which their version of pizza can be ordered via Did we mention surprise, somewhere? Well, Domino's will allow users to order their real pizza off the app, too. At the moment, however, we're not sure if the app's available for India users. The app is available for free off the App Store, here. You could see the app in action, here
