Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut coming to all platforms

Square Enix had earlier announced that an updated version of one of its most popular games—Deus Ex: Human Revolution—was going to come out on the Wii U with the Director’s Cut moniker. The company has now announced at its E3 event that the Director’s Cut will be making it to other platforms as well. This includes the PC, Mac, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

"After our Director's Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms," said Stéphane D'Astous, General Manager of developer Eidos-Montréal. "We're thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, 'You asked for this!'"

We all asked for this

The Director's Cut edition of the game is getting a bunch of extra goodies along with the game itself. It fixes the biggest complaint everyone had with the game—boss fights. In the Director's Cut, the bosses can be handled in a number of ways, allowing you to use your stealth or hacking techniques alongside running-and-gunning to take them down.

Other fixes in the Director's Cut include a reworked energy system, where more energy cells are recharged automatically, allowing Adam Jensen to use more of his augmentations. There will also be improved AI.

As of yet, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut doesn’t have a solid release date, but Square Enix has said that it will be coming out this year.
