Dell today announced the launch of its Wireless Entertainment solution featuring its line of Inspiron R series laptops. The solution, featuring Intel Wireless Display technology, enables users to view personal and online content from their laptop on the big screen without the need for cables.
Wrapped in curvy edges, smooth lines and four unique brushed metal-like finishes with chrome accents, the Dell Inspiron R laptops are available in two display sizes, 14 and 15-inch models.
Using the built- in Intel Wireless Display technology and an external Netgear Pust2TV adaptor it creates a Personal Area Network (PAN) for a one-time set up. Customers can get content from their hard disk, home network, or the internet and immediately display it wirelessly on a nearby large screen TV.
The Dell Inspiron 15R is powered by Intel Core i3 370M processor, 4 GB DDR3 memory and 500 GB hard disk drive and Microsoft Windows 7 (home premium), and the Dell Inspiron 14R is powered by Intel Core i5 460M processor, Microsoft Windows 7 (home premium) 6 GB DDR3 memory and 640 GB hard disk drive for storing large photos, music and video collections.
