Antec Inc., manufacturers of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrades and Do-It-Yourself markets, has unveiled a new PSU as well as a series of lifestyle products intended to keep up with our increasingly social and mobile lives. First up, Antec showcased its new high-performance PSU that aims to take power supplies to the max. Designed with high-power users in mind, the HCP-1300 Platinum is meant to complement its ‘little’ brother the HCP-1000 Platinum.
The HCP-1300 Platinum is sleeved and has stealth wire cables that integrate seamlessly in your set-up, and a plethora of available connectors that enable users to set up a 4-way SLi or CrossFire in no time. With Platinum-rated efficiency, ErP Lot 6:2013 and energy standards already implemented in Antec's other HCP Platinum units, the HCP-1300 Platinum offers a foundation for those who want to build an environmentally-conscious set-up that still goes easy on their wallet when it’s time to pay electric bills. At the same time, Antec will present the TruePower Gold series that will soon come to replace the entire HCP Gold line.

According to Mr. Kevan Li, Regional Sales Manager, India, “The HCP series power supplies will be the Top of the Line Series from Antec, and are all designed based on Server Technology. This would help optimize the system’s performance. The HCP series is positioned for extreme High end Systems for Segments like High end servers, military, Banking, IT Consulting, Research centers, Graphic designers, Overclockers etc.”
Commenting further, Mr. Kevan Li added, “It is indeed a very exciting time for us to be present in the India market. Apart from our core product lines i.e. PSUs & PC Cases, we are also looking forward to offer our consumers, a plethora of interesting products in the accessories and mobile products segments in the times to come.”
Next, Antec announced an expansion of their Antec Advance line including a range of mobile and laptop accessories to let you get the most out of your portable devices. First is a sleek line of portable USB devices, starting with the UA4-25, that enables users to re-charge multiple smartphones and tablets quickly. The Mobile Solutions PowerUp series are a slim, lightweight, USB-equipped, battery packs that use Antec’s TruePower Mobile Technology to power-up smartphones whenever needed.
The in-ear headphones
Finally, Antec is putting the finishing touches on a series of audio devices that will introduce Antec’s engineering skills to the personal audio market. This includes a range of multi-coloured headphones and their new a.m.p. line, along with products, like the Mix, a portable Bluetooth-equipped, personal sound system and the Gain, a portable Bluetooth receiver with a compact form factor.
While many of the laptop accessories are already available, Antec plans for the product roll-outs to begin in the second half of 2012.
