CES 2011: Samsung to Announce Dual Core Handsets/tablets at MWC 2011

Samsung has made quite a few big announcements at CES 2011 but they’re keeping a few for MWC 2011 (Mobile World Congress). Their handset/Tablet section has skyrocketed the last year with devices like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab amongst others. They also announced at CES 2011 the new 7 Series of devices one even toting a slide out QWERTY keypad. But MWC will see the announcement of more goodies in these segments namely dual-core equipped handsets and tablets. PCmag reported that Samsung plans to unveil a few devices equipped with dual core technology at MWC and thus usher in a new age of speedy mobile gadgetry for the company’s loyalists.

It's going to be a big year for the company

While we’re still struggling with our almost primitive 2 and 2.5G services the world is moving on to 4G where Samsung has already ready to announce tablets and handsets equipped to handle the technology. There was also talk of new Windows Phone 7 devices being announced with 4G technology. It’s going to be a fast year for mobile technology and Samsung is going to be one of the forerunners.
