CASIO, the official partner of Red Bull Racing launched two new EDIFICE watches designed around Formula 1. The models include the EQS- A1000 RB, which is priced at Rs.37,995 and the EQS- A1000DB, which is priced at Rs.39,995. These are available across the country and come with a two year warranty.
The EQS-A1000 RB
The Limited Edition EQS- A1000 RB watch includes full auto calendar, 1/20 seconds stop watch, timer, alarm and world time. The watch uses five motors to independently operate the hour, minute and second hands, which turn on the same axis. There is also a non-radio controlled model with a large disk indicator. The independent drives ensure smooth movement of each hand. It has integrated solar power system, which helps in generating power from both sunlight, as well as fluorescent light. The watch is approximately 193g in weight and is water resistant. It can operate non-stop for about 29 months with full charge and co-ordinate universal time.
The EQS-A1000 DB
The EQS– A1000 DB features distinctive face design and a large disk indicator with easy operating wide array of functions such as daily alarm and displaying full auto calendar, etc. This watch features the contact less electronic crown switch, which is driven by the magnetic sensor and allows easy access to the functioning and turning the crown enables the hands to be set intuitively. The large disk indicator displays the current functioning mode and the small circular indicator at the 3’o clock position uses different colours to show the current status of the stop watch. The lap time mode can be initiated at the 8’o clock position. In this mode, the large disk indicator displays first to fifth laps, while hours, minute and second hands move dynamically. The time record of the first five laps is memorized by the watch, which can be recalled by pushing the crown switch. Incorporated with coordinated universal time of about 29 cities along with the solar power (solar charging) system. The watch is capable of working for about 18 months with the power saving function.
