Research in Motion’s PlayBook tablets seemed to have palled well with controversies and criticisms. The tablet had to deal with criticism of its reviewers, almost as it launched. Now, it has stumbled upon yet another roadblock.
As many as 1000 PlayBooks of the 16GB variety have been recalled after a certain bug was discovered in the OS of the tablet. Owing to the bug, the users would be unable to effectively load the software on doing the initial set-up. Most of the PlayBooks with the said bug are yet to reach the hands of the customers, and are still in the channels of distribution.
But, if there is an affected PlayBook that has reached the customer, already then the next logical step would be to get in touch with RIM officials for assistance.
