Blackberry's BlackPad; No Prizes For Guessing Who They're Trying to Compete With

Blackberry announced its plans for their tablet and now they've also released a name - The BlackPad. Of course, the folks at RIM are trying to compete with the iPad. Bloomberg reports that the device will have a 9.7 inch form factor and would have the ability to tether to Blackberry phones. It would have both front and rear cameras.

The images on this page are leaks from bbleaks.com who also report that the Blackberry was rumoured to have ordered 8.9 inch screens from Hon Hai. The images indicate that the tablet could come with a cellular data option going by the Verizon sign on the back.
