Batman: Arkham City Lockdown now available for iOS devices

If you can’t get enough of Batman in your games and are craving for some of the Dark Knight on the go, you’ll be glad to know that an iOS game featuring the world’s greatest detective is out now. Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is a handheld game that takes place in Arkham City, but unlike its console brethren, it is a one on one fighting game where Batman takes on various inmates and super villains.

The game’s been developed by NetherRealm Studios, the same bunch of talented guys behind this year’s Mortal Kombat reboot and will set you back by around $6. Apparently, Ed Boon and his peeps at NetherRealm Studios are huge Batman buffs and so they jumped at the chance to add their brand of expertise to this franchise. According to MTV’s gaming blog, the game will feature boss fights with Two-Face, The Joker, Solomon Grundy as well as Deathstroke, a character that did not appear in the console/PC versions.
