AVermedia introduces Game Capture HD recorder

AVerMedia Technologies has introduced the Game Capture HD (C281), a standalone 1080i capture box for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. As per an official release by the company, it guarantees HD video capture ability to preserve the video of your gameplay in 1080i. You don't need to set up a PC beside your game boxes. The Game Capture HD can handle HD game recording task independently of a PC. The Game Capture HD will be available this fall.

The Game Capture HD possesses H.264 hardware compression technology. The on-screen display provides you recording information without interfering with your gameplay. It is claimed to have reduced latency in the game while the on-screen display mode is on. Besides, you can take a screenshot during gaming or video playback. The gallery with a thumbnail view guides you to the recordings or snapshots you are looking for. You can choose the file storage. The USB port for external hard drive, the 2.5-inch hard drive slot under the Game Capture HD also enhances its portability and stability.
