Both cameras use a 12 MP sensor. The regular lens has a maximum aperture of f/1.7 and 25 mm equivalent focal length. The tele lens has an unstated aperture and a 59 mm equivalent focal length. ASUS is claiming a zoom level of 2.3x, but do bear in mind that the equivalent focal lengths are very similar to that of that of the iPhone 7 Plus’ 28 mm and 56 mm. Digital zoom can boost the levels to 12x, says ASUS. ASUS also claims that its ‘SuperPixel’ technology will allow for 2.5x better light sensitivity than the
**iPhone 7 Plus** . Optical and Electronic Image Stabilisation options are also present. The camera can record video at 4K UHD. The front camera is a 13 MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture using an IMX 214 sensor. The device is said to feature a metal body, 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 5,000 mAh battery. It is to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 platform with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Other features include support for 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone will be available as a Flipkart exclusive in Navy Black and Glacier Silver colour options.
