Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the final chapter in Ezio’s trilogy is the latest game to jump on the 3D band wagon. The PS3 and the Xbox360 version will take advantage of something called TriOviz Inficolor 3D support while the PC version will be fully compatible with Nvidia’s 3D vision kits. The game will also be compatible with all 3DTVs using top/bottom, side-by-side and frame packing via HDMI 1.4. TriOviz Inficolor 3D will allow gamers who don’t own 3D TVs to enjoy the game in the third dimension but you’ll require special TriOviz Inficolor 3D glasses.
Stabbing people in 3D FTW!
Unfortunately the PC version has been pushed back nearly two weeks so while you’ll be able to grab the console versions by the 15th of November 2011, you’ll have to wait till the 1st of December to get your hands on the PC version. While I’m not too stoked about 3D, watching Batman Arkham City in 3D on the PC has made me a believer so I’m pretty intrigued to see how Ubisoft handle 3D in this game.
