From the 3rd to the 11th of September 2011, Ubisoft will be launching the Assassin’s Creed Revelations beta exclusively on the PlayStation Network to PlayStation Plus and Uplay members. Xbox360 owners need not grab their pitchforks yet as this beta is timed exclusive which means it will eventually make its way to Xbox Live as well. This multiplayer only beta will allow players to well, assassinate each other on one of three maps - Knight’s Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople across four playable modes - Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and a new one called Artifact Assault.
Through this beta you’ll be able to choose one of nine characters - The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion to dish out death on your unsuspecting targets. Introduced with last year’s Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, multiplayer in the Assassin’s Creed universe was insanely entertaining as it played out like the game, only with real people. For more on that, you definitely should check our Brotherhood review out.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations on the other hand will be available by the 15th of November 2011 for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
