Apple Tries To Patent 'Unauthorized User' Technology

Apple is trying to patent technology which would detect whether the device is in unauthorized hands. For example, if someone is holding an iPhone which doesn't belong to them, there will be some security triggers which will make the phone shut down remotely. Apple may even extend these features to biophysical ones like voice and face recognition.

This technology would also recognize jailbroken and unlocked phones as unauthorized (because they are technically 'hacked') and would shut those down too. Sounds like even though jailbreaking is legal, Apple still doesn't want it.
