Just five days after issuing the previous build, OS X 10.7.2 which was labeled 11C55, Apple have now released another build, OS X 10.7.2 dubbed 11C57 to developers. According to a report by Apple Insider, this update is approximately around 740MB and this latest release has no known issues as compared to previous builds.
Is this the last dev build before the public release?
The report goes on to say that some of the features of the 11C57 is that it includes iCloud in the installer. Prior to this version, developers had to manually download and install iCloud for testing purposes. Apple have also requested developers to concentrate their focus on areas such as MobileMe, Safari, Mail, iCal and Address Book. Another focus area of the 11C57 is that there have been improvements in the graphics drivers.
The report mentions that Apple has also begun the process of transitioning the accounts from users of MobileMe to iCloud. In a related report by CNET, this is supposedly the last developer build for Mac OS X before it goes public. Speculation is mounting that the OS X Lion update will be made available globally along with the launch of iCloud.
