Apple Music will also contribute to fund 10 full-time musical scholarships for students from underprivileged backgrounds, it added. "Apple Music and the KM Music Conservatory share a deep love in discovering, sharing and nurturing musical talent and were proud to be supporting such an institution that is investing in the future arts and music community," Apple Senior Vice President (Internet Software and Services) Eddy Cue said.

The KM Music Conservatory was founded by AR Rahman in 2008. It offers education courses in Hindustani and Western classical music and music technology. "The labs and scholarships at KMMC make an invaluable contribution to helping to develop the talents of tomorrows musicians and composers," Rahman said. He added that for over 20 years, he has been a "loyal Logic Pro user".
