We usually see Apple hosting an early spring event to showcase some new products, usually new iPads. While we are awaiting confirmation, MacRumors suggests that an Apple event is on its way which is going to happen sometime next week.
This makes sense too, as last year the iPad Pro 9.7-inch was introduced on 21 March. According to the publication, the rumoured launch comes from reputable supply chain analysts and a possibility of an early April event is also on the cards.
Surprisingly we haven't seen any big rumours or leaks but it is no brainer that we will see new iPads at this event. Apple currently has three segments under the iPad lineup including the iPad Pro, iPad Mini and the Air with the latter two now becoming a bit boring. But then tablets in general have become boring unless its a 2-in-1.
There has been a round of rumours which say that Apple will be 're-focusing' on the iPad and could announce a flagship 10.5-inch version and updated 9.7-inch and 12.5-inch iPads.
There are other products as well that cannot be ignored and could be announced, including the possibility of updated MacBook Pro with the latest 7th-generation Intel processors, an updated iMac, which could see some new hardware update and even a new iPhone SE. While the first two seem more likely, a new iPhone would be an unexpected move from Apple and probably a smart one too. Samsung has not yet introduced its new flagship and a new iPhone could any day be harmful for Samsung.
Of course, these are all speculations. Stay tuned for more info about the upcoming Apple announcement.
