Global e-commerce giant Amazon has now opened up an Experience Zone in the city of Bengaluru in India. Known for its online sales, the e-tailer has on demo its Kindle ebook reader range and even the recently launched Fire TV Stick. This should give online buyers a closer look at these branded products made by Amazon.
The Amazon Experience Zone has been set up in Mantri Square Mall in Bengaluru, which is a great place to see and be seen for the brand that showcases all of its products online. In short, the idea is not targeting customers to buy them at these pop up stores but experience them and know about the online brand.
For a company that has always relied on its website and the internet for pushing out its products and services in India, the experience zone surely brings a bit of Amazon offline. It is new, but it's an opportunity for Amazon to get closer to its customers and also gives customers a chance to physically hold and try out these online exclusive products before buying them.
This is indeed just the first of many to come, but this does not mean that Amazon is looking to open up a brick and mortar store. Amazon has plans to launch many more of these Experience Zones to make the online offline connect a good one and increase the brand's visibility, which should add a level of trust and bring more customers online.
