Adobe Releases SDK for Photoshop Touch

Adobe has released the Photoshop Touch SDK which means developers can can create applications which allow tablets to become companions for the desktop versions of the image editing software. Adobe's launched three Photoshop CS5 companions for the iPad itself: Adobe Color Lava for Photoshop, Adobe Eazel for Photoshop and Adobe Nav for Photoshop.

Lava allows you to mix colours with your fingers on the iPad as well as make colour swatches that can transferred into Photoshop. Nav allows image editors to select, control and customizel their Photoshop toolbar on the iPad, browse up to 200 Photoshop files and create new files. Eazel allows you to create paintings with your fingers which you can then transfer back to Photoshop over Wifi.  The three apps will be available in May with prices ranging between $1.99 and $4.99 (Rs. 88 to Rs. 221).

 

The SDK is available for Mac OS and Windows platforms now and can be accessed from the Adobe Application Manager.
