A Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 128 GB of storage has been spotted on Chinese certification site

About a month after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro in India, a 128 GB variant of the device has been spotted on Chinese hardware certification site Tenaa.

The original C9 Pro was launched in March at a price of Rs 36,900. At launch, a Snapdragon 653 SoC with 6 GB of RAM powered the device and it boasted of a 6-inch Full HD Amoled screen. Storage was limited to 64 GB internally, though it is expandable by up to 256 GB via a microSD card.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow powers the device. Cameras include a 16 MP f/1.9 unit on the front and the rear. Both cameras can record video at 1080p.

Considering the price, you get the usual assortment of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. USB Type-C is included. You also get an FM radio. The battery is a 4,000 mAh unit.

The Tenaa listing shows a device that’s identical to the launched device. The only difference is in storage, which now includes a 128 GB option.

The original C9 Pro is listed as the SM-C9000. The updated variant is listed as SM-C9008.

There is currently no information on price and availability.

In other news, a Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has also been spotted on Tenaa, and it's supposed to be a smaller variant of the C9 Pro.
