The Ascend Mate brings a massive 6.1-inch HD touchscreen display with 1280x720 pixel resolution. The smartphone will come with Corning Gorilla Glass as well as an anti-scratch coating. Inside the phone is a quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor which clocks in at 1.5 GHz and is developed by Huawei. OS version is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and Huawei has added to this with the company’s EmotionUI 1.5. The phablet is quite slim despite the massive display and stands at 9.9 mm in terms of thickness, but its 198g bulk could prove cumbersome.
