Xolo’s next handset – the X910 – has popped up on online shopping website Flipkart despite there being no official announcement or launch from the company. The dual SIM handset runs on an Intel Atom processor and sports a 4.3-inch IPS display with a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The website prices the handset at Rs 9,999, but it doesn’t seem to be available just yet.
The X910 from Xolo will run on Intel's Atom processor
The X910 will be powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and the graphics will be handled by a GPU clocked at 400 MHz. Multitasking should be a breeze thanks to the 1GB of RAM on the device. The camera on the back of the device will be a 5 megapixel shooter with LED flash, auto focus and touch focus, and the front will have a 0.3 megapixel camera. The device will measure 64.7 x 126 x 10 mm and will weigh in at 150g. All of this will be kept alive by a 2,000 mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 3G, 2G, GPRS and Wi-Fi. The handset has GPS with A-GPS and will come with Google Maps pre-installed. USB connectivity will be handled by a microUSB slot. It also has Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP. The phone will be equipped with 4GB of internal storage, which will be expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot.
The downside of the X910 is that it will come with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. This is a strange move in a time where other Indian companies are releasing handsets running on more recent versions of Android such as 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly Bean.
