3G Ready Handsets Under Rs. 10,000

We’re on the cusp of the 3G revolution. Of course we’ve been on that cusp for a really long time now. Samsung S5620 Monte – Rs. 8,600
Amongst this list of 3G enabled devices the Monte is by far the most feature rich. It’s equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity aside from just 3G and EDGE support. The Monte also comes with a GPS module and Google Maps. Samsung has also included their DNSe for a better music experience. It also offers a certain amount of social networking. The Ovi store make sit convenient to download SN apps in case you’re looking for something more specific than those preloaded.

For the travelers who like staying connected to their various social networks the Plus offers quite a bit of connectivity from Facebook and Twitter to Orkut, Picasa and Flicker. The handset also supports handwriting recognition and comes with a preloaded document viewer of Microsoft files as well as Adobe PDF.

The Smart is infused with Qualcomm’s Brew Platform as the OS. It’s quite similar to Android and HTC has included their very user friendly Sense UI into the mix. The H360 was launched with MTNL’s 3G service. It’s a touchscreen device that also features a physical mobile phone alphanumeric keypad. It’s equipped with a front facing camera to support video calling via 3G and it even has a 3MP camera for images and videos. The H360 also feature Mobile TV support with a built in app so users can watch streaming TV via high speed internet.
