Micromax has launched a new smartphone the Canvas Blaze in partnership with Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited that provides telecom services under the MTS brand.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 10,999 and comes with 2 GB Data free and 1000 minutes free MTS to MTS local calling. It also comes with 120 minutes free for other local and STD calls. The offer on data and voice services is applicable for 6 months.
The smartphone is an EVDO + GSM dual SIM device and has 5-inch screen. (EVDO allows for Enhanced Voice-Data Only and is a protocol for 3G High Speed wireless broadband standard. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor clocked at 1 Ghz. The Blaze also has an eight megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. It runs Android Jelly Bean version 4.1.2. Micromax has no specified the RAM for the device or the internal memory storage. However the device supports a microSD card with 32 GB as the limit.

The Canvas Blaze will be available across all leading retail outlets in India from 18 December, 2013.
