Google's interactive Doodle today celebrates, the 112th birthday of Frank Zamboni, with an interactive game on the Doodle.
In 1949 Frank Zamboni built the first prototype of the ice-surfacing machine, which is called a Zamboni. The game today lets users clean and smooth the surface of an ice rink after skaters scuff it before the fuel runs out. The doodle lets you gain points as you re-surface the rink. You can also share the scores on your Google Plus account.
Be warned that this is a fairly slow game and not as fun as other Google Doodles.
Frank Zamboni developed the first ice resurfacer in 1949 in the city of Paramount, California. Zamboni is said to be an internationally registered trademark, and the term is often used as a generic expression for any ice resurfacer.
