Google has begun rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for some Nexus users. The update was first spotted by Reddit user WeeManFoo who also shared a screengrab of the update on his thread.

This is the first update since Android 4.2.1 was launched in late November. So what are the fixes it offers?

• While downloading an app, it will now show you the remaining time as well as the percentage of download remaining.

• Resolves an issue where audio streamed over Bluetooth would “skip”. According to Ars Technica WeeManFoo said that Bluetooth streaming “works better” now when compared to 4.2.1. However it’s not yet perfect.

• Users can now long-press the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons in the Quick Settings panel (which was introduced in Android 4.2.1) which will turn those interfaces on and off, instead of taking users to their respective setting panels.

• According to Android Police, there’s also a new notification sound for when your battery is running low.

The changes are being rolled out slowly to Nexus users first, so you might have to wait for the update a bit.
